Anna is a 1st class graduate Sports and Exercise Therapist and Level 4 Personal Trainer. Anna founded Back On Track in 2019 with a vision to help people have a clear understanding of why they are in pain so that they can be proactive in improving their pain, function and quality of life.
Anna has a passion for coaching her clients in strength training and good quality movement. This passion is grounded from seeing the life impacting effect it has had on many of her clients giving them body freedom and confidence to live a life with fewer barriers.
Outside of work, Anna enjoys strength training herself aswell as long weekend hikes in the countryside. Previously, Anna had played football for local teams such as Portsmouth Ladies and Portchester Ladies. Never one to shy away from a challenge, Anna has also completed the London Marathon, 100km Ultra challenge walks and David Goggins 4x4x48.
TJ is a 1st class graduate Sports and Exercise Therapist and Level 3 Personal Trainer.
Meet Sam, our self-employed 1st class graduate Sports Rehabilitation Practitioner!
Sam works alongside Anna & TJ at the clinic. Sam works Monday evening from 5-7:30 pm and Saturday morning 8 am – 1 pm. Sam is registered with BASRat (British Association of Sport Rehabilitators). Alongside his work here at Back On Track, he also works as an outpatient MSK practitioner in the NHS physiotherapy department.
Sport Rehabilitators help people suffering from musculoskeletal pain or injury. They help people of all ages and all backgrounds to maintain their health and fitness and recover from injury. Sport Rehabilitators prevent injury and reduce pain using exercise, movement and manual based therapeutic interventions.
Education and training includes public health, behaviour change and pain science with a strong focus on exercise rehabilitation for varied patient populations, including those with long term conditions and non-communicable disease.
They work in a variety of settings including the NHS, Ministry of Defence, Private Practice, Sport and more.
